Meet Your Chandler Orthodontist

Rooted in Arizona, Focused on Families

Dr. Paul Serrano is proud to call the East Valley home, where his deep Arizona roots run through generations of family-owned businesses across Maricopa County. His strong ties to the community influence the warm, family-first approach Serrano Orthodontics is known for.

At Serrano Orthodontics, we welcome patients of all ages—from kids needing early orthodontic care, to adults interested in Invisalign touch-ups, and even seniors exploring oral appliances for managing obstructive sleep apnea.

Family care is at the heart of what we do—and it doesn’t stop at our patients. Dr. Andrew has joined forces with Dr. Serrano to continue expanding our mission, and they’re both looking forward to welcoming Emily Serrano to the practice once she completes dental school.

Dr. Paul Serrano

From Ivy League Athlete to Arizona Orthodontist

A proud native of the Valley of the Sun, Dr. Andrew Serrano left Arizona to pursue his undergraduate studies at Brown University in Rhode Island, where he majored in biotechnology. While excelling academically, he also stood out on the football field, serving as team captain and earning All-Ivy League honors during his senior year.

After graduation, Dr. Andrew made his way back home to Arizona, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He went on to complete both a Master’s in Public Health and a postdoctoral residency in orthodontics, deepening his commitment to both clinical excellence and community wellness.

Why Choose a Chandler Orthodontist?

When it comes to straightening your smile, not all dental professionals are created equal. While every orthodontist is a dentist, not every dentist is an orthodontist. After completing dental school, Dr. Paul and Dr. Andrew Serrano pursued an additional 2–3 years of specialized training focused entirely on tooth movement, bite alignment, and facial development. That’s what sets a Chandler orthodontist apart.

Orthodontist vs. General Dentist

Dentists are essential for maintaining your oral health, offering services like cleanings, fillings, root canals, and extractions. While many general dentists offer basic orthodontic services, they don’t have the advanced education or experience that a board-certified orthodontist does.

Visiting a specialist like your local orthodontist in Chandler means:

  • Access to a broader range of advanced treatment options

  • Faster, more efficient appointments with a team focused solely on orthodontics

  • More predictable, customized results, especially for complex bite or alignment issues

  • Expertise from doctors who treat hundreds of cases just like yours

⏱ What About Convenience?

You may think it’s easier to stick with your family dentist, but visiting an orthodontist doesn’t require frequent trips. Most patients only see every 6-8 weeks, and Serrano Orthodontics makes scheduling easy and flexible for busy families.

Worried About Cost?

You shouldn’t be. Serrano Orthodontics is proud to offer affordable orthodontic care in Chandler with flexible payment options designed to fit your budget.

This office is extremely friendly and everyone is always smiling. Always willing to answer any questions and explain exactly what's going on. Had both my kids and myself get our braces done here! Definitely recommend them!

Our daughter received the finest care imaginable at Serrano Orthodontics. Doctors and staff are consummately skilled in both patient care and family communication. I wish there were more stars to give - they’d get ‘em all.
